Jakarta – Sistem operasi (OS) BlackBerry versi terbaru — 5.0.0.230 — mulai bocor di internet. Perangkat apa saja yang bakal terjangkau OS ini?

Seperti dikutip detikINET dari Crackberry, Selasa (29/9/2009), sistem operasi terbaru untuk perangkat BlackBerry sudah mulai bocor di internet. Sistem yang baru ini akan memiliki nomor versi OS 5.0.0.230.

Pembaruan OS BlackBerry biasanya akan dibarengi dengan penambahan fitur atau fungsi baru. Selain itu, sudah lazim jika sistem operasi terbaru akan optimal untuk perangkat terbaru juga.

Awalnya, gosip yang beredar menyebutkan, OS terbaru ini hanya akan menyambangi perangkat dengan kelas di atas Curve 83xx. Artinya, kebanyakan pengguna seri Curve bisa ‘ketinggalan’ update tersebut.

Namun Crackberry menemukan salah satu bocoran OS 5.0 adalah untuk versi Curve 8330. Artinya, tak semua pengguna seri Curve akan ‘ketinggalan kereta’ sistem operasi terbaru BlackBerry ini.

Selain untuk 8330, OS 5.0.0.230 versi BlackBerry Storm 9530 juga telah bocor. Salah satu perubahan yang sempat dibicarakan adalah menampilkan pesan SMS dalam bentuk threaded.

OS Leaks: Threaded SMS Now on BlackBerry!

Holy Geebus. Talk about leaky leaky. After OS 5.0.0.154 showed up in the forums for the BlackBerry Storm 9530 late last night, our pal TimBuk2 sent in some BlackBerry OS download links for the Tour, Bold and Curve 8900. For the Tour, version 5.0.0.140 is pretty old now and kinda buggy, but OS 5.0.0.190 is hot off the press for the Bold and 8900 and makes some jumps forward with OS 5.0 including the appearance of threaded SMS (as pictured above)!! Finally – a native threaded SMS client on BlackBerry! Tabbed browsing is gone (for now at least) in .190 but there’s some other cool features too, like theme previews upon downloading and a few other tweaks (just installed an am playing with it now)! Be sure to visit the Storm OS forum and Beta OS forum (for all other devices) for the details on all of these versions.

Bold-291Earlier this week Michael let me know that T-Mobile UK has been stealthily pushing out OS 4.6.0.291 for the Bold through desktop manager and through web upgrades. Now he let me know that the desktop installation files are now available to all!

This application is in the beta stages and we will continue to update as we release new versions. Just keep a watch on this thread. BB SAK was built as a JL Cmdr replacement tool with a more friendly GUI. It uses Javaloader to do its magic. I hope that you all will find it as useful as I do.
